The Italians surely know a good way to live life– with music and good food, every day is a vacation in Italian cities. For a city which was the backdrop to Romeo and Juliet’s tragic love story, it was easy to see why Shakespeare was inspired by Verona to write it. Everything about Verona was beautiful. From the quaint streets between the rows of houses, to walking in the city center with families all around, to listening to the lively Italian street bands playing on the street corners, Verona is a city where if one would like to escape to a wonderful reality, they have everything they need. It’s not much of a city for those who want the enticing night life as that of other larger European cities, but rather one more family-oriented with the feel of a safer environment found within one’s surroundings.
